The Challenge

Renovation of an apartment on the 10th floor of a building in Spring Hill.

Challenges included access via shared lift – tight site conditions with regards to delivery & storage of materials and removal of trade waste. Working with minimal disruption to neighbouring apartments and noise.

The Solution

The renovation included: The redesign of a pokey and dark kitchen which cut off the flow of the apartment and made the main living space feel small.

A full Renovation of two old bathrooms and partial laundry with new flooring and painting throughout the apartment.

The new kitchen design, sleek new bathrooms and flooring, have revamped and dramatically opened up this inner city apartment.

What The Client Had To Say

We had our apartment renovated by Ecobuild in 2 stages.

Nathan Chapman, the Director of Ecobuild is an extremely organised, fastidious and quality tradesperson.

In March 2016 we employed Nathan to Project Manage the renovation. Nathan works very well in communicating with other Tradespeople and is always on time for appointments.

This renovation was ripping out all floor coverings except new bathrooms. The old kitchen was removed and replaced with a new design totally. Nathan oversighted this project and also offered his ideas on design.

The new manufactured timber floors were then installed and Nathan replaced all skirting boards. Finally the Painters came in and completely painted the apartment. Nathan was there regularly to check on the quality and progress.

We had complete confidence that with Nathan Project Managing we would have a very good outcome and most of all that he sets the timeline of the project and expects that to stay on track.

We would certainly be happy to highly recommend Nathan as a quality tradesperson who expects the same from anyone involved in the project.
